Wave Breathing for Moms and Moms-to-be

When we lengthen and expand our breath – especially the exhale – we return to a natural rhythm, ground our energy and reset our nervous system.

This is one of my favorite breathing techniques.  Whether you’re pregnant or not, with baby all day or working all night, we need to press the reset button every 90 minutes. If we don’t, we start to overwork our adrenals, limit the ability of our immune system to work, and slow the prana (life force) down so you forget what matters to you.

This is a great way to reset several times a day to help you be at your best even at the end of a long day!

We video’ed after class so it’s a bit chaotic, but hopefully you’ll get the idea.

Do try to relax your breath as much as possible, gradually lengthen the spaces between the breath, and breathe in and out through the nose.
